I need to know if anyone has any experience with a Machine shop called "Mainstreet Machine" on East North Main Street in Oakwood, Illinois. Also, what kind of shop are they and what have you heard or personal experience with them building a motor. Thanks very much!!
If you do talk to anyone I would appreciate any info you have. Here is why:
I actually bought a motor that was built by them. It is still a new shortblock and am trying to figure out whether I need to tear the whold thing back apart and check everything myself or not. It is a Dart block based motor with good internals I want to make 1000000% sure it is correct before I drop it in the car.
Yeah, I would want to make sure to man. I'll see what I can find out. I'm not sure where my cousin got his 4.6L for his F-150, but they didn't have to go through it. I'll check on that too.
