I was thinking of having my car chemicaly stripped. I found this place on the web. Has anyone done buisness with them?

I’ve taken several parts to them for stripping (leaf springs, driveshaft) but never an entire body. The last time I was there I saw a 65-66 fastback that they had recently completed and it looked pretty impressive.
I think they’re kind of pricey but I can’t complain about their service.
If you do go to them, a couple words of caution: They’re in a pretty rough part of town and their office is located inside their shop area. There’s a sign on the office door warning of a Guard Dog inside. Heed that warning!.

I can't complain about the price either for what all they do. They also gave me a number for someone close by that does what they called e-coat primer, where they dip the whole car and coat the places you can't get to after stripping like the inside of the rocker panels, etc. I can't see paying someone 1000 bucks to sandblast my car and leave rust in the seams and places you can't see. That doesn't include rust inhibitor. They want 1600-1750 to do dip the car and apply rust inhibitor. Thanks for the info. I wanted to check them out good first. I live in KY. That is a long drive to have crappy work done.

$1750 to strip and dip the car is a pretty good price. Your price for balsting is way high though, around here (OH) you are looking at the $450 ballpark with another $200 for primer.
