Many of us who go to the drivers schools and/or, take motorcycle riding courses are way too few! And for the most part long haul Truckers are generally a pretty good group of drivers. Most accidents involved with trucks are caused by idiots (mini-vans, SUVs, really big SUVs and econoboxes to name a few) who need a lesson in the realities of mass and inertia! Not to mention those who try to beat trains! Let the gene pool be cleansed but in ways other than stupidity on the road!

Or those ricers who pull in front of me. Then slam on the brakes. Or ride so close to my back end. That I can't see even their shadow.

Actually Excon. I think both types of driving schools are needed. It does no good to learn how to drive your car fast on a track. Only to be a dipstick on the road.

DE as in "High Performance Driving Schools" or Racing Schools? If so, then, yes. I instruct for the Alfa Romeo, Porsche, Audi, and BMW clubs and also for a few sports car clubs in the Southeast! I have been doing this since 1998. Go to www.trackschedule.com if anyone is interested to learn more about their cars and how they perform on a race track! Good schools and priced right!

Drivers Ed as in highschool stuff - NO!

The only problem is your talking about the Porsche Club Drivers Education. I assume the Mustang Drivers Ed entails driving yor car in a straight line while smokin a Camel and drinkin a Pabst!!

Maybe the Porsche boys should stick to driving in a straight line:

I've driven by there a few times and wondered what they do in there. I thought it was a glorified go-kart track.
