anyone know about mcleod bellhousings

Mine was. You are supposed to be able to install Mcleods without indexing them, but it's a good idea to check anyway if you are unsure.

The deal with the Mcleod's is that as long as your cranked centerline isn't f'ed up somehow then what they've already done to index it will work. Vibration could come from the bell being a bit off, pilot bearing alignment, bad driveline angles, driveshaft problem etc. Are you using the stock driveshaft or is it an aftermarket aluminum one? If it's the same one you took out, did you mark it berfore you removed it? if not, try unbolting it from the rear and turning it 180 degrees and see what you get.

It already had an aluminum driveshaft and I did mark it. Im wondering if it could be my trans mount sagging cause I didnt get a new one. Is the tremec a little longer? which would make my driveline angle a little off.

I don't know if it's longer, but the mounting points are moved back more so the crossmember has to be modified, but it shouldn't affect your angles. It might be worth it to change your trans mount. When I did mine I put in fresh motor and trans mounts. I actually have a new spare one sitting around if you are interested.
