I'm not embarrassed that its a Gt or anything, its just that I need a new front bumper and the Cobra one is awesome. I am ordering the front and rear and decided to make it a fake snake considering I already have the Cobra R's. The paint is in good shape, just a little oxidized and the GT behind the Cobra is noticable if you get up close and look at it. Anyone have a good solution? Should I just buff it like crazy?

Like said above, some rubbing compound (not too much elbow grease with this, just enough pressure to take out the marks) then law into it with a good wax (Mothers, Turtlewax, etc.) and it should fix it. I have taken scratches out doing this method, so getting that off should not be a problem.

You could try some meguairs colorX. You entire car could probably use something like this. It should make it look much blacker. I did it to mine and it removed lots of oxidation but not swirls

What did you glue that with?

3M makes a Swirl Remover that is a mild rubbing compound that I really like, and has good results in my garage.. try that...

Otherwise, SEMSOL is great, it strip all the wax and residue off without hurting the paint or the clearcoat. it will take care of it in a heartbeat.

Thanks guys for all your help. I bought the Cobra emblems off of Ebay with the grill emblem for like 38 bucks combined including shipping. Cheapest I could find. The Cobras came with 3m double-sided sticky tape. I'll try your suggestions over the weekend and I'll let you know how it turns out!
