When I bought this car, this antenna mount was on the car. It is made my Cellular One (are they still in business??). How do you remove it? I tried prying on it to break the seal but I was applying enuf pressure to where I was afraid I'd either mess up the tint or worse, crack the glass.

Anyone??

Well no, me neither. But the antenna mounts half on the outside, half on the inside. I guess the frequency bounced from the antenna, to the outside mount, through the glass, to the inside mount and then through the ghetto coaxial cable to the cell phone.

At least on the outside, you might try using goof-off (or just acetone), it'll dissolve the glue and you can pry it right off. For the inside part... you're probably going to have to either leave it there, or plan on redoing some tint.

Ahhh, yeah, the inside... I was only giving suggestions for the outside. I saw your pic and got keyed to the outside. The inside may have tint issues. If you are worried, leave it there. Look OK from the outside....

You could saw the inside off, and then use your finger to rub the adhesive off. Don't use razor blades around the defroster 'lines' (wires). I've cut those before.
