Anyone know where I can find 140mph speedo gear?

I bought a 140mph white face gauge kit and my stock speedo goes to 85mph. I heard I have to change the gear that connects to the transmission (i have an 87 5.0 with AOD). Does anyone know how many teeth are on the 140mhp speedometer gear? And where I can find it (besides a junkyard)?

I don't think you can change the gear to get it even close. I'm pretty sure you'll need the actuall 140 speedo, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You need the actual gauge. The gears are just to compansate for different rear end gear ratios...

You need to get a cluster, or just the speedo from an '89 GT. Thats the only year you can get it from because in 88 it had a 85mph, and in 90 they went with airbags and changed the cluster size...look on ebay but beware it's a hot item
