I am looking to upgrade the fuel system for an EFI application and I have been unable to find a stock replacement stainless fuel tank. Only the crappy repro stuff. Anybody have any leads or ideas?
Check out www.customgastanks.com. I know they make stainless tanks for the 65 - 70 Stangs with the EFI pumps built right in and also lots of baffling. They may make one for the 71 - 73.
They make the tanks for all mustangs. They have been in business for a long time, and I have purchased from them and never been disappointed. They can make the tank with a little more room on the driver side so that you can get big exhaust in easily with no rattles. They also have at least 3 fuel pumps, a standard, big pump, and huge 255ml, all efi inside the tank with plenty of bafling. Ask for chris
