I have a BBK fenderwell cold air intake on my 5.0. The upper blue rubber tubbing/Duct connecter? Thats clamps the CAI together is split and open right now. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement part for it? A part #,etc...?

Or a similar product from a hardware, plumbing store, etc that would work? Right now its Red-Green style fixed....duct-tape...cough..cough..looks pretty ghetto. ;D

I have the BBK CAI also and I have the splitting connectors too. Not bad enough to cause leaks yet, bet they are splitting... mostly from being taken on and off over and over. I had this kit on my old GT and on my new LX and on both cars, I had to hammer a spot on the strut tower because of the tube hitting it, mostly when cranking up.
I've seen black rubber connectors for plumbing at Lowe's that look very interesting. They make different diameters and lengths and I am convinced that there's probably a size that would work for the CAI kits. I just haven't gotten around to it. One day I'm going to go to Lowe's, open the hood, take off one of the blue connectors, take it inside with me, and find one that's the same size. I think they would look cool black (I've never been crazy about the blues ones) and they look WAY stronger than the blue ones.
Whenever I finally try it, I'll post my results and the exact sizes here.
