anyone make a plastic or some other composite dash?

just wondering since my car is going to be a restomod...I currently need a new dash and dont want to have to be replacing the dash every 5 or 6 years because of cracking...whereas most plastic dashes I have seen dont crack(or at least do so a lot more slowly) I would love to find a dash made out of say...sheet aluminum but I know thats not too likely...but plastic is cheap and I was hoping someone made one

take the dash pad off,take off the metal supports and paint the dash as a whole meatal peice.

Or wrap the dash in another material that wont crack as fast...probably get about 10+years out of it.My tweed dash has been covered for about 13 years.

5-6 yrs? use a good vinyl protectant such as that from stoner and it will never crack
