Anyone making high power with an off-the-shelf cam?

Hi all,

I'm looking to install a 331 dart based stroker within the next few months. The car is going to be equipped with AFR185's, Systemax II upper/lower, D1SC procharger that I have no idea on the boost level (I'm guessing 9-10lbs showing since I'll have a higher flowing motor ), 50# MSD injectors, Pro-m75 bullet that could probably use an upgrade, equal length shorties, prochamber, magnaflow catback, and I have not decided on a cam.
What I need to know if there is anyone who has made decent numbers with an alphabet, or off the shelf cam? If I keep my E303 I will be using a 1.72 crane pedestal mount rocker which will put me at a .535 lift.
The car needs to stay emissions legal, and run on pump gas. ( for the street ) I am also looking for the 600rwhp range, or enough to get me into the mid 10 second range once I add better suspension.
I made just over 500rwhp and 460ft/lbs with GT40X heads 64cc, E303, stock cobra upper/lower, stock shortblock w/ cats.
So I am hoping that the better heads, intake, and cubes will get me close to 100rwhp after tuning. I just don't know how much this E303 will be limiting me compared to a custom cam from Ed Curtis, or Laroccas.

Uh, I dont' think another 100 horse with those will be a problem while keeping the E cam. I can guarantee you can get more than 100 by getting away from the E can though

I have an Anderson B-31 cam. I don't have any numbers yet, but it is a really great cam. Pulls like a mother on the top end.

So nobody here can verify 550+rwhp from an alphabet or OTS cam?

Anderson Ford is probably about the best you're going to do with an off the shelf cam.
