I may be moving there next Spring. What is the nearest track? What is the nearest good Mustang shop? (I know MPH is near Atlanta).

May I ask what if any emission inspections are done in Georgia? What about South Carolina? Long Island and the NYC area is very strict. Not as bad as Cali but we do have to dyno and cams would fail.

there are emissins around atlanta. but not around augusta or anywhere in sc

Are you set to go to Augusta.

Yes, I would only suggest MPH as close as you are. Less than 2.5 hrs away. It is a quick ride all highway miles!

www.potterracing.com chris tuten 2003 real street champ and 2005 drag radial champ runs the dyno there. its in columbia, sc about an hour from augusta.

Sounds good Travis. We are 90% certain we will be moving to that area. Looking at June of 2006.

Looks like a nice track. What does it cost to get in, inspected and run a few times? Here it was $45 and then they closed the last track on Long Island. Nearest is 2.5 hours away!

AUgusta is pretty nice.Born and raised there..But live in atlanta now.

Lots of shops within 2 hours of augusta that do nice work.
MV performance is in athens (about a hour and half out of augusta).

Go there for the holidays to pick on my buddies..New car in town gets plenty of action ..

Carolina drag way used to be a great track.But havent been to it in years.

There is also a few up here..SO within 3 hours you have about 4 tracks to race at.

i grew up in morrow,ga wife grew up in stockbridge,ga. so i go there often to visit family.
yuo know about summit coming to mcdonough right?
