Just wondering if any members have installed the lambo door type kits? i haven't seen a single one over the years i've been lurking on here. only reason i brought this up is because i saw an an ad the top of the page.....

its not something i want, but it does intrigue me. if it were free, i'd prob. do it... other than that, i really have no interest in it.
i think the fox has one of the longest doors EVER! sometimes its a PITA trying to get out when you're in a tight parking space. if i ever did the conversion, it would be for functional reasons, not flash.... but i know i'll never do it. just curious what you guys think about it?

The idea of lambos on a fox is gheyer then a bag of cawks. Not only would it look dumb, well and just be plain retarded. It would't look right because of the window frame we have on our doors. Now if you had a convert or ttop it would look better but still retarded. Lambo doors belong on lambos, hench the name.

I've seen a few SN-95 convertibles with Lambo doors.

I wouldn't want one but I don't think it looks that bad.

The kit is about $1800, IIRC

I think the lambo doors for foxes are gay b/c they swing out like normal then go up like in a n L shape, they don't swing straight up like actual lambos do

Any car that is not a lambo has to open this way. Lambo door jambs are meant to be opened upwards, normal cars are meant to open outwards. There is no way to make them open upwards without first opening a few inches outwards.

Unless your car is priced in the 6 figure range and came stock with scissor opening doors, they are for the pink team....no questions about it.

A member on here named "raininfire" or something like that had them on his black fox and they looked good. That was a few years ago and I believe he sold the car since but it used to be a stangnet favorite back in the day.

what about those doors that slip under the body. there was a video with mark 8s. stay out of small parking spaces anyway. no matter how careful you get in and out of your car, the woman parked next to you in the expedition is going to dent your car.

You think Fox doors are huge? Try squeezing an MN12 into a parking space and then hoping you have enough room between your car and the other person next to you to wriggle in and out. About the only thing bigger would be a hardcore land yacht like a 70's Cadillac Eldorado...
