Anyone Order a set of these yet??

"SprangZ logo are property of MustangTuning.com,"

Sounds to me like some one make these for Mustang Tuning.com as a private label. You may want to find out who manufactures it for them. Who knows, they may just be made by a reputable company, and sells them to MT for cheap cause they don't carry the name brand on them. You never know.

The front spring rate sounds good for a GT replacement but the 200-300 lb for the rear sounds like too much split. It would be hard to match a shock to work well at 200 lb and then have to control the spring at 300 lb too.

Based on the spring rates and drop info, they look like they are in roughly the same range as steeda sport springs and ford racing C springs. Most likely, MT experimented a bit to figure out their ideal spring rate/drop, and had a spring company manufacture them to the exact materials, spring rate, specifications. Then they mysteriously had them powdercoated orange. I'm considering putting them on my car (until I've got enough $$ for MM coilovers). It probably wont be for a little while but I'll be sure to post if I do. I'm pretty confident that MT is not gonna put their name on something if it's gonna result in headaches from returns, or bad reviews. I'm looking forward to sporting some Double-D SprangZ haha. Since they seem to sell these exclusively, that would probably account for the reasonable price (less middle men).

Yea, the whole name of the spring is a turn off.

The C spring on stangstore.com is only $140 after shipping. :)

151 with shipping. And they can add a "handling" charge to that too.

If you are making your performance decision based on a name of a product... that is your choice, personally I look for "bang for my buck" deals.

find out who is actually making the spring. piece of mind would be worth $20 to me though. I trust ford mor than that company.

When I buy springs I want performance. these may or may not be good. there is no guaranty they are worth a crap though. I have never seen any sprangz on any race teams. I would not take the risk. nothing to do with the names spelling. more to do the who makes them?

Oh they were only $140 shipped to my house. That was still cheaper for my ZIP code then gefracing.com or any other vendor.

I shot them an email last night...here you go guys :)
Dale,

These are made by Coiling Technologies to our specifications.

Subject: SprangZ Double D Spring

Hi. I am very interested in purchasing the SprangZ Double D springs, but I am curious as to who makes them. Does Mustang Tuning make them, or does someone make these for Mustang Tuning as a private label. If a brand name company makes them, I will be more likely to buy them. Again, I am just curious, but very interested. Thank you very much.

Best regards,
