I installed a Mac straight flow system on my buddy's 02 GT on Saturday, it was the 12" K&N and it had the Chrome pipe to the throttle body. We took it out for a ride after I finished, and it ran great. Then He called me and told me that he took it out on 95 for about 10 miles, and it ran great, then he got off and was about a mile from home and it stalled on him. He pushed it into a gas station and was able to get it started but it would die on him when he hit the gas. He idled it home and put the stock system back on and it was back to normal.
