I ran on the track for the first time with my new BFG DR's last night. I ended up shaving almost a half a second off my ET. What tire pressure is optimal for these tires? I ran 18psi and did a 3-4 second burnout before each run. On my best run, I was able to launch at 3750rpm with no slip or bog. The times from that run are posted in my sig. Would it help me to drop the pressure to 15-16 psi? How low can these tires go and still not cause too much drag at the other end of the track? I think I'm gonna remove my front swaybar, passenger seat, back seat, and amplifiers. I want so badly to get into the 12's NA with just bolt-ons. The bad thing is that I really can't afford any more bolt-ons at the moment. I know that an upper plenum and throttle body would help, it's just not in the cards right now.
