I ran on the track for the first time with my new BFG DR's last night. I ended up shaving almost a half a second off my ET. What tire pressure is optimal for these tires? I ran 18psi and did a 3-4 second burnout before each run. On my best run, I was able to launch at 3750rpm with no slip or bog. The times from that run are posted in my sig. Would it help me to drop the pressure to 15-16 psi? How low can these tires go and still not cause too much drag at the other end of the track? I think I'm gonna remove my front swaybar, passenger seat, back seat, and amplifiers. I want so badly to get into the 12's NA with just bolt-ons. The bad thing is that I really can't afford any more bolt-ons at the moment. I know that an upper plenum and throttle body would help, it's just not in the cards right now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I ran them on my mach with 12psi and I could cut 1.76-77 60' ... They work better after you get a few passes on them...

How many passes? I put 13 passes on them last night. If I could drop another tenth off my 60', I should be in the 12's, right? I guess I'll run them at a little lower pressure next time and launch around 4k. I just want one 12-second slip so that I can quit for the season and stop beating on my car.
