sorry i dont understand, what harness should i get? the one for the small red and white wires? i ask because i dont have the kind of coil that works with. Im not asking where the slack in the wire should go. thanks though

The small gauge red goes to switched 12v, ignition key. The white wire is unused unless you use a crank trigger or starter saver. Just tape it up and bury it in the harness.
where is this switched 12v ignition key wire located? ...so i can attach the small red wire to it.
As of right now, theres no spark from the coil to the distributor during the start circuit, but it sparks once or twice when i stop cranking.
