This is probably going to be a better asked question for the sn95 and up crew. But has anyone tried out the 17 inch et streets? I am about to ditch my draglites for a while and go back to my ZS Racings, but the problem was I could never have a fun bottle run with them, cause 275/40's were not having it. I am thinking of trying the e/t streets, tread wear is not an issue because its pretty much a once and a while track car, and a every now and again drive it to work deal. Any one tried em?

yea, i just want something that will stick in 2nd on the street so i can walk lightly and cary a big stick if ya know what i mean. No cage and no plans to have one, keeps me from sprayin at the track.. Last time I got sent back to tech.. Needless to say I just went home. Lol

maybe thats what I am talking about.. I had seen a few newer cobras this year at the FFW spring break shootout with 17's that hooked. I have had had a set of BFG 275/50 - 15's DR on the car for a while and are sick even with the 150 kit on full blow, but my 17's with BFG's break out in 2nd hard core no matter how much or little PSI is in them, and am ready to get away from the Racer Look for a bit. But I want something that will grip pretty decent from a roll.. I mean, I know nothing is going to hook like a tire with a fat sidewall, drag radial or a slick, but I am willing to try almost anything to get my 17's back on the car.

i have a set of 17" micky thompsons on my rear... 5lug swap disk all around, they hook great... ive never been to the track with them, but everytime i try to burn them i cant at all.. unless its wet or i turn real hard... one time i had the rpms at about 4k and they barely barked... nothing but lift off... i think i have a flat tho, i filled it up and it hasnt gone back down yet... but im stayting with the mickys untill i dont have a mustang anymore..
