Anyone got 9 inch wide 24mm offset wheels on the rear of their foxbody and using a SN95 rear end?

Posted via Mobile Device Yep, ttop88 used that set up on his 89 lx hatch. With 245 45s and B springs it rubbed. The tires were right at the edge of the wheel well. He went back to standard 17x8 Bullitts and was much happier.

thanks, I was wondering if I could get by with it, looks like I can't, I just dread spending the extra $400 to get my rear back to fox width

I purchased the FRPP M2300-k brake kit which gave me those axles. I also had 18x9 rims with a 24mm offset and a 245/40/18 and it rubbed like you wouldn't believe. The tire height was the same height as my stock ponys so the height had nothing to do with it. It gouged into my tires and i had to replace them. I then switched to Fox length axles and brackets as soon as i found out. Even if you rolled the fender, it looks goofy because the wheel is so far outward. Good luck.

I think I will just buy the correct axles and brackets, I am in the process of getting my car ready for FFW next year in Bristol, wanting to change a few things before next august
