that's what i was thinking too.. and i don't know how many PSI.. you know how they are, they don't speak in real terms.. they say like "increases horsepower 20-40 percent!" (what?!) lol.

the way i see it, with my car already pumping out about 350 at the wheels, a blower even running on low boost should give me some pretty awesome numbers.

since its a roots style blower its most likely 6-8 pounds. In simple terms that can get you good HP numbers.... look at the Cobra and Lightnings.

now, i don't know too much about blowers and whatnot... what are the different types? what's a roots style blower? also, all the cobra guys always talk about bigger pullies to get mor psi out of it and whatnot - would that be applicable for this setup, or no?

Here's my Holley 174 Carb blower setup. I was running 390RWHP at 10PSI (adjustable up to 26PSI) and haven't even gotten to the pistons yet. Here's a vid of my motor:

well i wouldnt change that stock pulley out, like mentioned, its prolly a 8 psi pulley and if your at 350 to the wheels now, your gonna see probably 500 hp at the wheels, maybe more.so at the crank, your gonna have a lot

Taken from http://www.superchevy.com/technical...nduction_poweradders/0510sc_theory/index.html

"There are three different types of supercharger compressors: centrifugal, twin-screw, and Roots-type. Roots-type blowers are also called external compression pumps because no compression of air actually takes place inside the blower case. This is the key point of difference between the Roots, centrifugal, and screw-type blowers. Centrifugal and screw-type blowers are considered internal compression superchargers, since the impellers in each compress air inside the unit itself, and then send the compressed air to the intake manifold. It would be helpful to familiarize yourself with these three types of superchargers before deciding which one is best for your application."
