I was wondering if anyone had added a Weiang 174 blower to there cars 289 or 302? I noticed that pre 69 cars needed a crank spacer. what all is involved in the installation and changing the fuel system? I should say what are the fuel requirements of the blower? also, what other mods are neccesary to install the blower, it looks kinda low profile, but im assuming it wont fit under a stock hood. also, what kind of carb is neccessary to use this supercharger? do u need a supercharger carb with a roots style blower such as this? and lastly, what kind of power increases were noticed from adding it to a basically stock motor? I want to know if its really the best bang for the buck for only 2200.00 dollars. seems like a good price for a supercharger

Do you have link to it? I've never run one, but I've always thought they were sweet. I don't think they're the most efficient by far, but they are good for 6-7 pounds boost.

well, i ran a kenne bell on my 94 cobra and it ran around 8 psi which was alot for a roots/twin screw supercharger, i.e. it made a big difference. but really, i wouldnt buy it to make the car the fastest thing on the road or anything, just to give it a little punch... and those kind of superchargers work great down low, making for an off the line tire eater! the link is http://store.summitracing.com/defau...earchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp
Im still looking for anyone who has one or had one
