yea, im running the UPR ones.. didnt notice any diference in vibration. Thing runs and feels fine..

Have you driven the car up to speed yet, I'm just wondering, by reading your other post, if your comparing them under load or just at an idle or low rpm. Also does the UPR mounts lower the engine at all or is it a direct OEM replacement as far as height goes. What tranny mount are you useing with them. By the way, nice work on your set up.

Solid mounts here. I get a side to side rock because of my cam, but not any obnoxious vibrations or anything. I wouldn't think it would be bad at all with mild cam.

What brand are you using? Is yours OEM height.. I am thinking of a set for my 418 but have to have a factory 94/95 height, don't want any drop mounts.

TTT for ya...

I also wanted to know if those UPR pieces drop the motor. If you use drop motor mounts will they interfere with Long tubes? Just asking because im thinking about a 351w route.

What year convertible motor mounts can i use on a 95? Do all verts have lower mounts?

thanks

Well I've since did some searching and IMO the best solid mounts are HP Motorsports or HPM (402-731-7301). I bought their extream duty solid drop mounts for my 418 but for 10 bucks more I also bought the 3/4" solid spacers that raise it back up to stock height. If I can run it at stock height (hood clearance) then I will do so for header to ground clearance. Also I know mine with the canton 7qt pan clears with a ton of room to spare lowered with my flamming river rack, but others have had to shim 3/8" in order to clear a power steering rack so that may need to be taken into consideration when planning things out. I've seen the UPR's in person a couple weeks ago, and for a few extra bucks I'd go with the HPM's. They are built different than the UPR's and are one solid piece. As far as header clearance. With a stock K member there may be issues with it lowered. but i've seen a lot of people have to notch the stock K member out regardless with a 351w base motor and larger headers.. I am using a AJE K member which frees up a lot of room.. header size may play a roll
