Curious about the TF stage 2 cam (have a buddy that really wants to get rid of his). I am looking at building a motor with some 4t40p's, explorer intake and a stock 93 bottom end. Anyone running the same combo? Really looking for the bang for the buck here. Can I run stock springs and lifters with this cam? Any help is welcomed.

Well the stage 1 is .499/.510" lift and really at the limits of the stock springs.

The stage 2 is .542"/.563" valve lift and really too much for stockers

Well what's cheap? It's a $180 cam new, so used should prob be able half that cost.

He was wanting $50 for it. Just unloaded it on another guy. To be truthful, I havent seen to many used cams under the $100 range. If I didnt know the guy just, and knew he wanted some weekend money, I wouldnt even concider a $60 dollar cam.

I have concidered some other cheap options, but cant decide if I should maintain the stock cam and go with some 1:6 or 1:7 RR Arms or continue searching for an alphabet cam.
