Be sure to read the article by Jon Kaase on the link.
Remember, he won the Engine Masters Big Block Challenge
last year.

511 hp out of a 100,000+ mile stock bottom end 302?

Cam and intake change.

Only problem I see is not being legal in several classes.

I like 'em, think we'll have to get a set for our little 289.

Funny thing, price doesn't show up in add, but I think they
were about $1299 assembled with good stuff, but you'll have
to add $129 for push rods and I can't remember how much
for the valve covers.

Also far cheaper than the Chapman/Glidden/Edelbrock heads.

Wonder about they're legality in some of the classes, I mean,
they're not Cleveland style heads, but they are canted.

I have spoken with Kaase and tried to purchase these heads and was informed that the heads were not available, either from him or Jegs and was told there was no exact date of when they would be available. They did a huge cyl head test in MM&FF and these heads had the highest flow #s but did not finish on top, but I was still impressed and thats when I tried to purchase them. I went with my second choice TFS R which are the cyl heads that won the comparison test.

Have not decided on custom or hooker I will probably go with a custom since I will be needing a 1 7/8 primary tube at the least. The heads are going on a high compression motor 13.1 351 stroker 408.
