polished, painted, or powdercoated valve cover only. ford racing is supposed to be releasing new valve covers soon.....

as far as the intake, just the cover that everyone is putting on. to me it just looks like a box on top of your engine. i like the LS1 look to the engine. no intake manifolds are available yet to my knowledge.

The 3 valve might make good power for it's size, but that damn thing looks like a Powerstroke diesel.

I don't know, looks ok, but it's like you're trying to hide your ugly kid when company's over at the house

Or what we used to suggest in doing it with ugly girls ( the old bag over the head deal). Give me "real" parts to show off and make a butt-ugly motor look halfway decent that you can lift the hood for. Ford hit a home run with the car, but blew it with the engine compartment. One thing's for sure, the 331-sixpack that's in my 89 Ranger now WILL go into storage to be transplanted into either the 06 GT Stang ( I'll have one day ) or an 05-06, V6 Stang ( I like sleeper's) And it'll be something I'll be proud to lift the hood for.

Yea, and a breeze to swap in that humongous engine bay, the one redeeming quality there. With the V6, looks like there's room for two of those, side by side. Or maybe a three or four valve V10

Far as I'm concerned, the market for dress up parts ( not just covers ) is WIDE ASS OPEN for 05-06's ( you listening , Ford?)

I wouldn't let the engine compartment sway my decision on a car. You're not even looking at it most the time unless you drive around with your hood up.

True, it shouldn't affect a decision on whether or not you buy a car. But once you have it, you'd like it to look as good as it can.

I never said I let the uglier than **** 3 valve 4.6 affect my decision, and I guess you're in a different age group than mine, back in the old days, we were proud to lift the hood at any opportunity to show off what it had. We never drove around with the hood up, but we DID run around with it off when the occasion arose, and had something there TO show off.
