Well my car smells bad almost like ive been slamming on the brakes non stop or somthin everytime i park the car affter a trip of any distance. Well i took it to ford, they just gave it back saying its normal and brakes are fine.... Well I took it to work and had it up on a lift (tire job) and found that it looks like TRANNY FLUID is comming out of where the driveshaft meets the trans and is spraying on the floorpan and traveling down and dripping on my exhaust and buring off to make the smell!!! Has anyone seen this before? whys it doing that crap?

Thanks

Sounds like your seals went south. A compotent tranny shop should be able to fix that relatively cheap.

is it lowered? because when i lowered my gt it went too far in the rear cuz of my sub box (120 lbs.) and shoved the d.s. too far into the tranny. This caused it to leak so we put different springs on the rear and got a new seal put on the transmission. hasn't leaked since

Just because I don't have faith in dealership service techs...

I'd take it back to the dealership and say, "Hey dumb-s**t...Did you not see this when I brought the car to you?"

I've been to too many dealership service departments and listened to service managers and mechanics talk about how they couldn't figure this or that out cause it wasn't in "the book"... I'm like, man if you gotta look in a book to be fixing my car I don't think I want you working on it.

alright i'll first go back to ford and let them know im pissed they didnt notice this nice and bright red fluid everywhere around the tranny! if they will just replace it free... why not? cuz i find it hard to spend money on a car with 1500 miles on it for a bad seal.... thanks guys

Yeah, they should cover that under warranty. Shame on them...
