one of my side latches doesn't close all the way and it's really starting to bug me... this creates a little space between the windows and the top and the latch and i get a lot of creaking, while driving...

kinda hard to explain, but one of the sides latches closes just right and the other latches really easily, which suggests that the top is really offset...

anyways... i figured out i could adjust the latch hooks by using the 6pt star screwdriver, but i couldn't figure out how to adjust the little stud that's on the second retractable piece... one of the sides is a 6pt star too, but it's soo hard to get a screwdriver in there and actually try to turn it, that i gave up...

if anyone has any special tools they use to adjust the top, say something!

i need advice!

mine is the other way around. it doesn't seem to go up quite all the way so i have to really pull on it to get the latches down far enough to latch them. on the driver's side, the adjusting bolt came out and I haven't put it back in yet. it is a star thing, it looks like a "torx" driver would work on it. my local hardware store had them and so did the autozone, yours probably will too. one of these days i'll get around to putting it back in ....

right i know those, but there is one other stud-like spacer thing that is inbetween the first long section and the second long section of the roof... and is only held by a nut...

it doesn't have a head on either side, but it has a torx style slow, where you could use a torx screwdriver... the problem with that is that it is on the inside part, where there are a bunch more parts which are in the way of being able to actually turn the screwdriver... i was wondering if there is a tool or something to make that easier.
