Looking for as much user information on the tweecer rt as possible. I want to run one to clear my driveability up some, and maybe pick up a few hp.
Are they worth any power???
Let me know anything you can about this system,
Thanks
Ted

well if your going to get one get the r/t model over the standard one. The best thing is the realtime data logging, the air/fuel monitor allows you to tune your setup for optimum hp. For a mass air car, its great you can change your maf transfer function to match any change for larger fuel injectors and vise versa. You can eliminate your emissions equipment. You can retard your timing at wot for boosted applications, change the pulse widtch of your injectors, shift points and be changed as well as the rev limiter and idle and nuetral rpms.

Best Place to learn is here http://tweecer.oplnk.net/

My car is running mid 12s on the motor at over 107. At wot it just plain hauls, but the light load cruising is bucky. I have all the smog removed, so I believe the computer is trying to compensate for it. Any more info is welcomed.
Thanks
Ted

Mean88 - my car drives like a stocker, so you are prob right about the emissions stuff and that can be "turned off" with a tweecer, but we still have not heard from anyone actually running SD with it.

I visited the tweecer site and id a search on "speed density" and there is minimal information there.

Hey Tom,
I know that you are the big porting guru, I also see you post at 50 tech.com alot. So I know you know a thing or two about SD with h/c/i. I am running a Crower 15511 with 1.7's. Many have told me to switch to mass air, but for me it doesnt make any sense. Why should I spend the money on the system, when for about the same amount I could get a tweecer? If I went mass air, I would still need to turn the emissions off. Many talk smack about sd here, but the system works well when you use the right cam. I am looking for the most info I can find on this before I do it. I am going to get a tweecer, so if no one replies then I guess I will be the guinea pig. I will keep you posted as to what I can find out about it, and I'll let you know when I finally get one setup.
Ted

DropTopR - that was an informative post

Ted, I'd appreciate any and all info you care to keep me up on. The posts I did find on the website regarding SD gave very little help. If I couldn't find a ggod support group that was willing to talk (not many replies on the SD posts I found) then I'd think twice about jumping in. You should go there and do a search too.
