Anyone Use/Heard Of Promotion Clutches?

Looking online within the last couple weeks at people with pro motion Trans, I have yet to see one negative on the company....weather that means they have great clutches I don't know.

Dave, Walt (owner of ProMotion) is a good guy and has some special materials he is using that take the heat, hold the motor but are less aggressive on the trans. I know some NMRA Pure Street guys that run his stuff and the car is not as violent...

If you looking for something for Luke, dual disc is about your only option....

Call down and give them a call if you have any specific questions, ACT is coming out with some interesting stuff also for the Fords.

Thanks Rick!

I was actually looking for something for myself. I think I'm going to buy that Promotion clutch, Walt e-mailed me back today and said that clutch would be good for about 650trq and my car just makes 612. ;) Luke has a dual disc that should be here any day, it smoked the Spec Stage 3+ from a roll, pretty funny to watch!

I have the Pro Motion clutch in mine I got from Walt. Actually just their disc with a Spec III pressure plate. Works great. It has a little bit of give to help with trans durability. The Spec III disc is too harsh for many transmissions if you're going to be powershifting all the time. I also got his clutch cable, firewall adjuster, and extended fork. Really happy with Promotion.
