come on dude. you cant really make your car faster with these "cheap" mods. spend your money wiser. save up for the real mods like a cam and intake or a afull exhuast(headers to mufflers)

:Word: These are really support mods. Right now its your stock heads and intake that are the 'choke' point. You will see some boost in your hp but nothing seat of the pants. Upgrade your h/c/i then look twards your air intake componants.

You can gain HP with these "cheap" mods, but as Skoobie said, the real gains right now are in his heads/cam/intake. Go to AFM's website, they have dyno results on TONS of different cars, some stock, some not. They ALL gained a nice amount of HP. But I do agree, right now he should spend his money wiser, but that's not to say the powerpipe is worthless.

GreeNLX, when I put mine on, I noticed a nice little gain, and that was before my heads and cam. I have since taken it off because my maf fell OFF twice while driving (one time coming back from houston at 3 am in teh rain, NOT FUN!!). I like it, the only beef I had was the location of the maf, and the lack of support for it (all the weight was hanging on the rubber boot, so it fell off quite easily).

How much is the anderson piece. If i remember they are quite expensive. Can't you get similar performance from a UPR or BBK, etc. product? I have to admit they do clean up the engine compartment nicely and make a great spot to mount the MSD.

Mine was $230 new, I think fox setups are cheaper. A BBK will NOT perform as well as an AFM, I don't think a UPR will either.

Bought the Aluminum UPR Boostmaster pipe which looks just like the AFM Powerpipe. Definitely worth the money.

i picked up about 2lbs of boost with the 4" power pipe i made. With a 6psi pulley on my powerdyne i make 8lbs of boost at 6000 rpms on my factory tach. The tuner said my tach was reading about 500 rpms higher than his dyno was reading. I havent run the rpms any higher, because of the stock heads and cam.

Was thinking of getting the UPR one because the previous owner put a K&N which draws all the warm air directly from the radiator. I am just wondering if there is a 100 dollar performance difference for the anderson.

I know the big diffrence is in the H/C/I combo just asked the question didn't say i was gonna actually buy it. Althoug it might have sounded like it.I was just a little curiouse. From what I've read the factory intake is a cold design
