anyone use these heads...

just wondering if anyone had first hand expiecence with these...also would those work well with my 331 combo?

they are knock off victor jr castings. so imagine edelbrock heads on your car but not flowing aswell or having as smooth a finish for runners that edelbrock does.

Also, lots of machining required. The push rod holes need a lot of cleaning, etc. Don't waste your time or money...do it right the first time.

I also have to wonder how much headache (if any) raising the exhaust ports a quarter of an inch would cause.

how can you tell...i just went out and looked at my heads and they look similar in location

Because it says it in the description.

...exhaust ports which are raised .250 higher than stock...

it actually improves the exhaust flow like crazy. it is a much better design then non raised ports.

how would my headers reach m xpipes??? will that 1/4 still allow them to seal together?

yes because they are a vic jr knock off and vic jr's do not need a special headser your current ones will work. there are however heads out there that have raised exhaust ports that do need different headers.

anyone use these heads...
