I have a Fuel safe fuel cell and Autometer Phantom gauges in my '66 Fb. I can't get the gas gauge to work. I contacted Centriod (the maker of the sending unit in the fuel cell) & built the required voltage regulator to send a constant 5v to the gauge, but I think the autometer gauge needs 12v to it.

The instructions were for wiring the sender to a stock Mustang gauge.

Does anyone have this setup in their car??? How did you wire it up?

Just contact Fuel Safe, tell the amp range between empty and full, and they should be able to direct you in the right direction.

When we set up ours, we had this information ready so they just sent us the right sender to start with...

I have the correct 76/6 ohm fuel gauge.

It still does not work. Maybe the senders bad... I was just hoping that there was some trick I missed in getting this thing set up....
