I want some gauges but I'm tapped after Christmas. These are fairly inexpensive but I want to make sure I'm not buying crap.

Anyone?

Yeah I had them in my last Fox, ordered them from ebay. I had the fuel pressure gauge (electronic) and their air/fuel gauge. After a month the fuel pressure sending unit would sometime peg the gauge for 10-15 seconds then go back to normal. The day I sold the car on the way to pick up its new owner at the airport the gauge (prolly the sending unit) stopped working. The gauges look nice and the lighting is cool but the quality is crap The air/fuel gauge always lit up but I have no idea if it was accurate, it did just tap off the stock O2 so it could not of been too accurate. Its the old adage "You get what you pay for". The FPG might be good and just needs a better sending unit, dont know what an Autometer sending unit cost though Overall I would say save up a little longer and get Autometers. I just remembered when I bought mine I asked the same question as you and only one guy on here had them and had the same problem with the FPG, forgot who that was

Gauges and Pod

I purchased their triple pillar pod:

http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=103

for my Cobra with 3 White 7 color gauges.. I installed after thanksgiving and I am pleased with the quality. I called and talked to their tech support department and they gave me the complete run down on the installation of my oil pressure gauge. I am very pleased with the level of customer service I received with my products. I was also told they will stand behind their products with a 1 year warranty as well.
I dont think these gauges are cheap, they look good and perform well. I would recommend to other stang drivers, but we will see what happens..
