Anyone with a 94+ Brake booster in thier Fox

Its easiest to change the Booster while everything is apart. If you pedal is rock hard after your done, you will be taking everything apart that you just installed to put the Booster in. Yes Its a PITA, but if you work at it, its not that bad!

Well, looks like i have to elongate the inside lower hole to get this booster to slide in. Any harm in doing the same to the metal bracket under the dash that the thing bolted to??

When I had to elongate a little of the firewall, I made a point NOT to get into the metal bracket under the dash because that is what actually holds your booster in the proper position!

did you use the 93 Cobra? or the 94+ style?

im thinking one out of the 4 being out of that bracket wont be a HUGE deal. Not like it wont be securely bolted in place.

I used the 93 Cobra on my car. I am not sure, but I think the SN95 styles have a slightly different stud pattern in which case you would have to grind through the metal brace. I would be careful in there as the brake light switch is extremely sensitive, my brake lights wouldnt go out after my install. The problem ended up being that it was just not lined up perfectly in the holes, so I had to crawl back down there and loosen those damn nuts a second time then wiggle the booster a bit and tighten them down again!
