Anyone with a Tremec using the HPM Heavy duty crossmember?

I am going to be putting a Tremec 600 in my car pretty soon. I know I can modify my stock crossmember or buy a new adjustable Ford Racing one, but I was thinking the HPM part might be better. Its supposed to be stronger and it looks like it doesn't use any bushings. It's also specifically made for the Tremec. Anyone have one?

The Tremec mount is a little further back than a T5. My understanding was that you have to grind the welds off the tubes on both sides of the crossmember and then slide the crossmember back. Idealy you would then get it re-welded

not ideally you would have to get it re-welded, YOU HAVE TO DO IT.

Who sells these? How far back can they be moved. I have a TKO500, and a K-member that moves the motor back another inch. So it's going to have to come back further than even a modified stocker will be able to handle.

Oh, and check your driveshaft, you should have a good inch of slipyoke exposed. With the modified stock unit, stock k-member the driveshaft was pressed against the tailshaft. I overlooked that. :notnice:

I've seen them for sale at 5.0 resto and Central Florida Motorsports. They run about $90-$100. They look pretty sturdy, and they look like they are gold zinc plated. I'm not sure if it would work for your application because they don't look to be adjustable
