anyone with the BBK CAI, can you do me a quick favor?

Can you measure the size of the piping used? i plan on making my own intake using exhaust tubing but i dont want to go too big ot too small. im figuring its about 3-3.5 inches right?

The top half of the intake that goes to the throttle body is smaller then 3 inches and the bottom half that drops into the fender is 3 1/2. I replaced the top half with a 4 inch piece and it worked well for me.
