Anyone's sync not playing ipods?

Hey, my sync won't play my ipod now.. this issue just happened last night and i've had the car for about 2 months now...

When i go to the "USB" command on sync.. then go to "Play track...." sync then plays an error message and then a couple words about how its going through my playlist or something along the lines of that. It still won't play my ipod anymore, no matter what. My ipod is the brand new itouch so it's definently not the ipods fault and it worked perfectly up until last night... Anyone else have this issue? and how can i fix it? The voice commands for the ipod won't do anything too.. "play track.." "play artist.." "shuffle" "play all" etc.

There is a related post on Sync problems. There is supposed to be a software update available from the dealer.

Thanks, im going to go to the dealership on monday.. do you think this software update will fix this problem?

Sync problems?

Ok there is a known problem with iPods after you have updated their playlists in iTunes. Hers what you need to do to fix it.
Pull the sync fuse it is located in the passengr foot well
Start the car without the fuse so the system can hard reset.
Put fuse back in and re pair your devices.
You will continue to have issues if you constantly unplug and update yur iPod with new songs or playlists until you take it into ford for the sync update.
