Im was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere near the Houston area that sold good rebuilt Tremec 3650 trannies. I know of Smart Parts in the Dallas area but was wanting something closer so I could just pick it up myself and save on shipping.

Im sick of dealing with Ford, they have rebuilt my trans 3 times now(under warranty) and the exact same problem comes back very quick.

Heres some info as to what is wrong along with a vid.

I'd stay far away from Houston Performance and Steve Drier. Dealt with them years ago. I wouldn't use Richard at Strictly Performance either. Spent thousands of dollars there when I was young. I would use Gforce from personal experience in Pearland. Might want to look at PSI and triangle(east of houston) as well.

Thx for the help all.

Do any of these sell tranny's or do they rebuild them.
I just wanna get this fixed,Im tired of dealing with techs that cant fix problems.

I know Ford had no clue what the problem is since they replaced:

rear end gears once, rear suspension parts, tranny rebuild 5th at least twice, drive shaft, then the entire rear end and thats how I got my 4:10's by accident and then they didnt even know how to correct my speedo.I had to call a Ford Perf parts dealer to call Ford to tell them how to fix that.

Of course that was all under warranty and only cost me my deductable and none of that was bad to begin with. But you can see why Im tired of this.

Im going to get this fixed one way or another after the holidays are over.

Also the reason Im saying Houston area is that I live in College Station so it isnt too far.

Stay away from Circle D transmissions. The converters are supposed to be good quality but the transmissions are handled by another person in the company and are not impressive. (at least aod's). I'm in aggieland too, graduatin in 2 weeks! Whoop!!
