Anywhere on the internet to order a 180 thermostat for a 2004 GT??

A buddy of mine needs a 180 thermostat, i got mine with my predator but he cant find one at any parts stores around here, is there somewhere on line that they are sold? Thanks

yes, but they'll charge yo $20 for a $4 part. go to the autoparts store and ask them for a 180* t-stat for a 4.6L Thunderbird. it's the same thing but for some strange reason, they don't have one for 99+ GT's in their computer.

$10.95 for 180 thermostat. It has the high speed pressure release on it. Autoparts store does not has the pressure release. Hope that helps.

RPMOUTLET.COM has Hypertech ones for 99-04GT's. I think they're about $20 bucks though.

I got mine from Randy - Liberty Ford over at Modulardepot.com under the Ford Parts dept. Randy said that the t-stat was from a Newer Lightning and works just fine. No performance advantange, but thought it was time for a change after 5 years in the car and figured it was worth using the 180 to keep it cooler in the warm weather. I believe the stocker is rated to open in the low 190s.
