AOD Capacity...help

I have the Holley system max system and Vortech blower going on my 88 Stang. Does anyone know the capacity of the stock AOD tranny? I am thinking about a 2400 stall, and B & M race rebuild kit. Do you think the tranny will be able to handle the new power with the Holley system and blower?

I think there ok with 350hp,,anything over that mite be to strong for it.You need a 2800---3000 stall converter.Lentech sells a aod tranny that is pretty bullet proof And it comes with a converter.IMO,I would stay away from B&M tranny sh@t.And there are other alternatives to beef up your tranny!!

DO NOT GO WITH B&M...get the transo shift kit it is so much better...Also as far as the stall converter goes...check out hughes and go at least 2800-3000 just like willys1 said...you can get a bigger servo and an Lentech valve body and you should be good without breaking the bank...
