Im going to swap out my stock AOD Pan for a deep one and wanted to know if there is any clearnce issues with exhaust or any thing else that I may run into if I swap it out for a deeper one?
Thanks 87gt
I have a deep pan on my AOD and a BBK O/R x pipe. Its tight but it doesn't rub or hit. If it didn't have a drain plug in the pan I would have to drop the x pipe to change the trans fluid though.

Ok that brings me to my next question, How many quarts of fluid do I need for a Aod with PA Deep Pan. I got the Deep Pan in the other day and one of the main reasons I am changing it out is because I would like a drain plug .that is one of the nastiest jobs Iv have done ,
My Pony has been sitting for about 2.5 years I have charged the battery and moved it around the yard a couple of times, but on the road it hesitates big time before catching in gear like it is low on fluid but she's pretty full and it does this even backing up and then putting it into drive.
Is there a recomended AOD Tranny restore fluid or anything else I can do to help, The Tranny was perfect before I had bought a house and a whole lot of bs of life events happened.
I guess my point is I dont want to do all that work for nothing, Im simply changing the Pan and not make my first mistake and letting the seal set for 24 hrs before adding fluid so it doesnt leak, but before I go and drop x amount of qrts in I wanna put the good stuff in.
