The best thing you can do is take the aod out of the car and throw it over the first bridge you come to, don't spend a penny on the aod trans, they are an engineered nightmare, they don't work, get a c4 trans and end a lifetime of trouble. I got my c4 trans from pa performance automatics, best move ever, it actually shifts instantly when you move the shift lever.

Go to click click racing forum and search aod-c4 swap, silverfox has the complete write up on everything you need to do for the swap, like flexplates, bellhousing types and crossmember modification, but basically you cut the aod plug off the wire harness that goes to the trans and run the wires into the grommet hole on the drivers side tunnel into the interior to your shifter, the shifter has to have two switches, for the neutral safety wires and backup lights. The neutral safety switch wires are white with pink tracer and red with light blue tracer. The other two wires are the backup light wires, if you strip the insulation off the ends of the backup light wires and touch them together, the lights will go on, touch the neutral safety switch wires together and the car will start when you turn the key, just make sure you are in park or neutral or you will grind the starter, so you could use just simple toggle switches if you had to for both to work. I have the b&m hammer shifter with the c4 conversion kit that makes it simple to do.
