when i come to a stop and then try to go again it slips out of gear.it revs up and when i let off and give it gas again it goes back into gear.if i slow down, turn and then give it gas it does the same thing.could i just get a shift kit or do i need a rebuild.cant really afford the down time but probably can get it done cheap.sorry its so long.

First thing to check with those symptoms is the fluid level.

make sure you check the fluid with it idleing in park after it's warmed up for a few minutes......try not to over fill it either, with a filter change your probably lookin at about 5 quarts worth, give or take a little.
