I found out that you can ratchet shift your any aod at any point this is how you do it.
first put it in first gear and punch it now shift in to drive for a split sec. and when it shifts in to second put it back in first(no it wont go back to first gear)now you can strech out second then throw it in to drive and then over drive, It works really good to Im dead even with a stick car.
yeah you can hold 1st and 2nd gear to any RPM by doing the above, ive heard its bad on the OD band but ive done it for 3 years on my 140k AOD and its still fine.... But i have a 5spd now so i dont care anymore
