AOD slipping, rebuild or buy new?

So my 196k AOD has finally started slipping when I accelerate hard in a right turn. I assume it's pressure related. Given the mileage on the tranny I have no idea how it's held up this long. Anyways, I was looking into a stock rebuild, or possible a PA Super Streeter

I really like the Lentech AOD lockout feature, but can't fork over $2100 for one of their transmissions.

My car is 100% street driven, and only a few of those are hard. Hell the AOD lasted me this long with no issue, I've never heard of that. I don't want to go manual BTW, so no reason to even bring that up. I get my thrills shifting my Miata.

I intend on increasing performance a tad, probably around 300hp, but that's after I get the rest of the car back to like-new condition.

Any recommendations, or input on the PA?

Why not just rebuild your current transmission? Im rebuilding a A4LD right now and its not hard. The only hard part is getting new parts. Rebuilt automatics have bad reputations from what ive heard, thats why I went with doing it myself. Good luck.
