AOD to T-5 swap question

You need to swap for the clutch pedal bracket. If I remember right there are differances between the two. It has been a little over 10 years since I did my swap so I don't quite remember what they were. Someone else can verify if I am right.

It's the hardest part, but that doesn't mean it's hard. Make sense?
It's just tedious and time consuming to be scrunched up under the dash, but nothing about it is hard to do.
It's actually very simple.
Like any of us, you'd probably just rather be under the hood or under the car before you are under the dash.

I don't know anybody who would rather be under the dashboard.. Lol.. Good point. Everybody says how bad the heatercores are.. Did mine in 2-1/2 hours.. Not bad when you know where all the bolts are. I would see if there are any YouTube videos.

Yes, I do despise working under the dash. I did manage to get the pedal assembly out of my parts car but as of yet have not attempted to get into the car I am swaping to. I did notice when I was pulling the pedals from the T-5 donor car that there is a switch to detect that the clutch is fully depressed. Will there be anything in the AOD car to plug that into when I get under it's dash?

There is a plug under the dash with a jumper wire connected to it. If you want your clutch safety switch to to be operationable (no start without clutch pedal in) then remove the jumper wire and plug the connector into the clutch engage safety switch.
