Well, I'm damn near sick of not finding a Mustang. I found a LX Hatch 5.0 with the aod. I hate automatics. Plain and simple, sucks power and is not fun to drive for a muscle/sports car. I think I can get this car for MABYE 1700 or 1800. Body is good, theres a chip missing from the cowl induction hood.. Interior looks fair, theres some normal wear and such. Paint fading on the trim.. Little stuff I'm sure. So my question.. Realisticly how many $ am I looking at for an entire aod T-5 swap. I can get a used T-5, but I'm not 100%sure on what other parts need to be swapped. I wont be able to do all of the work myself because I'm no expert, but mainly because a lack of tools. Any help is great, if all turns out i'm going to just buy the car and rip into it.

I did the conversion and used the link above as reference. Everything went pretty well. Got all the parts from a car being parted out including the tranny. I had to buy new headers, dipstick and an h-pipe tho - mine got trashed trying to remove them.

Well bad news.. Just looked at the car, its a peice. I asked the guy if I could start it and he said no, dead battery. But when I opened the door the alarm went off. So I imagine if it could have cranked, so I think the guy was hiding something. Body is fine, interior is a little trashy, drivers side door panel is barley on there, doors sag down couple of inches when you open em. Im passing on this one, but the info was helpful. Thanks.
