AOD to t5 reverse light?

I did a t5 swap about a year ago, and have been driving it w/ out reverse lights since. I was able to bypass the N.S.S by connecting both wires down there, Im wondering how to get the reverse lights to work? I think i was wold to just ground the last two wire underneath to the 2 terminals on the transmission, which i have tried doing but cannot find the right size nut to fit on the end of it. Need help here guys and gals!!!

Go to a junkyard and get a T5 harness. It will make your life much easier.

Oh yea,,I 2nd that motion... make it allot simpler and very easy to swap in...

When I built my notchback from 4cyl to 8cyl, I had changed the trans too, from an auto to a stick. I just swapped the harness. Very simple, it unplugs right at the transmission, then under the drivers side carpet to the drivers side kick panel. All my stuff worked.

I never did change out the harness when I did my AOD swap in my 89 coupe but I remember cutting 2 wires from a plug on the auto tranny and hooking them up to the reverse light switch on the side of the T-5.

Worked just fine.
