After months of procrastination I finally pulled the AODE out. Hopefully, the T5 will go in tomorrow. I have a couple of questions.

I've read in several posts and articles that you need to cut a notch in the tranny tunnel for the T5 to fit. It looks like if I screw in the back two holes of the lower shifter boot into the stock holes and drill two new holes for the two holes in the front of the boot, then if I cut metal within the perimeter of the lower shifter boot I should be ok? I just need to cut long enough and wide enough for the rectangle that the shifter mounts to to be able to poke through, right?

Secondly, I just wanted to ask about a clutch fork part number. I didn't come up with anything with a search. I got a 94-04 clutch fork from 50 Resto, LRS-7515B. The part number on the fork is XR33-7515-AA. It looks like the right size, shape and color but I wanted to see if anyone else has used this before. It seems odd that the 94/95 T5 would have the same clutch fork as the T45.

And now for the hard question. How the #%*$ to they put AODE's back into our cars? It was hard enough taking the top bellhousing bolts off. I can't imaging putting them back on. Thanks.
