AODE question

Can somebody help me out. I have a AODE and I want to put in a shift kit and 3:73's. What are the best shift kits out there? Also I drive about 10 miles of highway driving every day. Are 3:73 a good option? And last the speed limits on the highway are 75 so I do about 80-85. What RPM do you think I will be running at that fast? Thanks for all the help.

I regularly drive further distances and I have 4.10, so you'll be fine and dandy.

85mph should be about 2,779 rpm, assuming stock size tires.

I would go with 3.90 or 4.10 gears. On the shift kit you can do one at home with about $30 of parts from ford. Go to www.tccoa.com and under tech go to tranny and you will find alot of info.
